Alistair Reeves founded Ascribe after 25 years working for the pharmaceutical industry in diverse roles: medical writing, medical translation, regulatory affairs, document management, publishing, medical marketing and management.
During this time he also worked as a freelance writer, editor and translator of medical, scientific and other manuscripts for clients in the Europe and USA.
He holds an honours degree in Applied Language Studies, after studying in London, Tübingen and Amiens. He is a fluent speaker of English (mother tongue), German, French and Spanish.
He attained the qualification of Editor in the Life Sciences from the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences, Highlands, USA.
He also served on the International Conference on Harmonisation Expert Working Group that issued the guideline “Structure and Content of Clinical Study Reports” (ICH E3).
He is well-known as a teacher and workshop leader in international medical writing and other organisations.
